Current firearm licences issued from all Australian states or territories will be accepted. Persons aged between 16 and 17 must hold a current minors permit to use a firearm.
All Applicants must provide their current firearm’s licence details when purchasing a game licence if a firearm is required for the species type being purchased. A game licence is only valid in conjunction with a current firearm’s licence (not applicable to muttonbird licences).
